Flat tire, loose chain, or other bike trouble? With over 10 years of hands-on experience, we carry the tools and spare parts to deal with common problems on the road. A support truck can also be arranged for luggage, gear, or emergencies.
The Story Behind The Route
We’re two long-time friends who share a passion for motorcycles and exploring Vietnam.
One of us has over 10 years of hands-on experience working with motorbikes, while the other has spent the past three years guiding motorcycle tours across the country.
We started 2ndgear Adventures to combine our experience and create private motorcycle tours that we would actually enjoy riding ourselves — from relaxed on-road trips to more challenging off-road adventures. Our focus is simple: good bikes, good routes, experienced guides, and proper support along the way.

WhatsApp is usually the best way to reach us, as we're often on the road and away from home. However, feel free to contact us through whichever platform is most convenient for you, whether that's email, Instagram, or Facebook. We'll create a group chat before the trip, and there will be two of us available to answer your questions, discuss trip details, and help with anything you need.

We require a 30% deposit to secure your booking. The deposit can be paid via PayPal or bank transfer. The remaining balance is payable in cash in USD at our office before the tour begins.

You will need a valid International Driving Permit (IDP 1968 Convention), along with your personal riding gear. We also recommend packing light, as travelling with less luggage makes the riding experience much more comfortable and enjoyable.

Unfortunately, we don't run group tours. We specialize in private, all-inclusive motorcycle tours and believe this is the best way for us to deliver the experience we want every rider to have.
Private tours give us the flexibility to adjust the pace, routes, riding style, and daily schedule to suit you. It also allows us to provide a more personal experience and do our best work both on and off the bike.
